LICENSING OF NEW PRIEST FOR PACKWOOD and LAUNCH OF ‘OVERSIGHT’ AREA. On SEPTEMBER 29th   we celebrate with Father Patrick as he is installed as the Priest-in-Charge at St. Giles Packwood.  St Giles has been in interregnum the resignation of the Revd Marc Catley and the end of June 2022.

This means that the three churches of  St. Michael’s Baddesley Clinton , St. Mary’s Lapworth  and St. Giles Packwood  come together to form what is known as an ‘Oversight Area’.

An Oversight Area is a group of parishes working together and sharing resources

The timetable for the Sunday afternoon on 29th Sept will be as follows:

1.30  Celebration and  prayers at St. Michael’s

1.45 We leave and  walk to St. Mary’s

3.15 Celebration and Prayers at St. Mary’s

3.30 We leave and walk to St. Giles

4.30pm   Licencing of Priest-in-Charge & Launch of Oversight Area at St. Giles with Bishop James Langstaff

https://sg.hockleyheath-packwoodchurches.org.uk/ Transport will be available after the service to take walkers back to St. Mary’s  or St. Michael’s

The walk is not a fully ‘organised’ walk and so attendees take their own responsibility for safety etc.
