Change to the Pattern of Sunday Services

A revised monthly pattern of services has been under discussion at the PCCs for several months, and the changes will come into effect in August 2022.  The changes are:-

 

11am Choral Service at St Mary’s Lapworth

The second and fourth Sundays of the month with swap round so it will be:-

1^st Sunday of the month :               11am Family Service

2^nd Sunday of the month:              11am Parish Eucharist

3^rd Sunday of the month:              11am Parish Eucharist

4^th Sunday of the month:              11am Mattins

5^th Sunday (when it occurs):        11am Mattins

 

Services at St Michael’s Baddesley Clinton

On the fourth Sunday of the month a new 9.45am Holy Communion Service will replace the 3pm Evensong service, so it will be:

1^st Sunday of the month :               9.45am Holy Communion

2^nd Sunday of the month:              3.00pm Evensong

3^rd Sunday of the month:              9.45am Holy Communion

4^th Sunday of the month:              9.45am Holy Communion

5^th Sunday (when it occurs):        9.45am Holy Communion

 

8.30am at St Mary’s Lapworth

This service will only take place on special occasions.  In fact, this measure has partly taken effect already.  The Revd Marc Catley, Vicar of Nuthurst cum Hockley Heath and Packwood was taken ill on 31^st May.  Since then I have been taking an 8.30am service for the congregations at Packwood and Lapworth.  The service has mainly taken place at St Giles, Packwood.

This service, especially suitable for young families, will continue unchanged.  It takes place at 9.30am on the second Sunday of each month except August and November.
