Fr Patrick Gerard has recently been contacted by VASA, via Warwick District Council, with a bid for volunteers.
VASA is a volunteer community transport provider. It is their mission to reduce isolation and promote positive health and wellbeing by providing transport to clients. VASA specialises in transporting passengers to hospital and GP appointments, as well offering groups and activities within the community.
VASA has recently restarted their services for medical appointments due to a fantastic team of volunteers – but they need further support! This is a valuable cause and St Mary’s Lapworth are pleased to share this opportunity with our community.
If you are interested in volunteering as a community transport driver, you can get in touch with VASA by calling 01789262889 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in using their services, you can book transport by calling 01789 262889 or visiting their website.
